Sailing

Carter took Andrea sailing. The tide was a bit low so they did more pushing than sailing.
Poppy rode in her stroller and Grandpa and Grandma drove down to watch.

We hung out all weekend just looking at Poppy, waiting for her to wake up, go to sleep, burp, need her diaper changed ...

Family

Grandpa and Grandma are here all the time, yeah. Auntie Kim and Cousin Andrea are down for their first visit. They are fighting over who gets to hold Poppy, the criteria is when she cries she gets handed off. :>

The Bancrofts come for a visit

April, her mom Marcie, Kadin, Jordan and Seth were Poppy's first out of town visitors. Poppy was crying when they arrived and April worked her motherly magic on her. Jordan Bancroft enjoyed her visit with Poppy. She also shared some love with Noodle. Kadin took his turn holding Poppy, and then he and Carter went outside and did boy stuff. Marcie, April's mom, made Poppy's hat. She is ready for the Los Osos weather.

1st Bath

Poppy had her first bath. Carter did the bathing, Grandma kept her safe and I took pictures. It took all three of us.

She was so content after her bath, I held her for about an hour and then she went to sleep.

So far we know she likes to be take a bath and ride in the car.

4 Days Old

We went to the lactation consultant and had Poppy weighed before she ate, in the middle and after she ate. She lost @ 10 ounces from Sunday (7.1) to Tuesday (6.8). She weighed 6.14 on Thursday, so she is back to gaining weight. She ate 2 ounces and pooped for the lady. What a good girl.

3 days old

We are keeping a low profile. Poppy went to the Dr. yesterday to check on her jaundice. She is going really well and has not turned yellow yet.
